On 27 September 2017, in partnership with the CCI & Caux training center, NASSER MERABET provided 7 hours training on international payments and guarantees.
One of the course objectives was to raise the participants’ awareness of certain special issues related to international trade, including export financing, international terms of payment and payment instruments such as documentary remittance, international factoring, SWIFT wire transfers, etc.
This training course also focused on how to make safer commercial transactions for companies, by collecting information about their business partners’ reputation on the market; including the right clauses into their international contracts; and using guarantee schemes such as first-demand guarantees, standby letters of credit, irrevocable letters of credit or tools to hedge foreign exchange risks.
